Angie's Story
She is 6 months old and I named her Angie.
She was dumped on Halloween 2000.The woman later
that evening admitted to my friend she left the kitten
by the seawall on my street. My friend called me told me
about
the kitten being dumped We went to the area where
we
expected the kitten might be. We seen a
absolutely terrified
kitten running around. We managed to
get close to her by offering
some cat food. She was hungry and was shaking with fear. I then
ran back to my house to get a carrier. We tried to get her
to go in, but had no luck.
Early next morning my friend went to the area, was able to catch her.
I took the kitten straight to my Vet's office.
She would need to be
tested for FELV and FIV. She would need her Rabies and DRC shots
She was treated for ear mites, fleas and wormed. Nov 1,2000
she was spayed. Angie recovered nicely from surgery . She is the
sweetest
little girl. She now has a caring and loving home
where the kitties come first.

Thank you, Grace for Angie's poems.
Dumped Kitten
I'm a poor little kitten about six months old,
A wicked cruel lady dumped me here in the cold.
Have to hunt for my dinner and I don't know how,
I asked for help, I cried a loud meow,
And do you know what happened to me?
God up in heaven heard my kitty-cat plea,
Now I have a place which I can call home,
Won't have to go on the streets and roam.
I'm a lucky kitten true, yes I know I am
Landed on my feet, well yes any cat can,
But then I did so much better than that,
Got me a Mom, that's why I'm a lucky cat.
I'll be living in a house with other kitties there,
And I know my new Mom will always care.
Humans are strange, some can be so bad,
That they would hurt animals makes me sad,
But others we love, make up for this cruelty
When they give new homes to kittens like me.
So I've met the bad and I've met the good,
I hope the good can win, I think they should.
ANGIE'S FAR AWAY EYES
Where do you walk little girl, little girl
Do you follow a path only you can see
Does it take you far, far away, little girl
Are there lands only you can perceive.
Is it here on our earth little girl, little girl
Or do you fly on star to a planet far away
Do you walk by yourself all alone little girl
Would you have liked us there at your side.
Angie so sweet, our dear little girl, little girl
Hope wherever those tiny feet walked before
You were welcomed with love, our little girl
With eyes that see far and shine with love.
Oh Angie we love you little girl, little girl
More love than you could dream about
We'll protect and take care of our little girl
We love her that's beyond any doubt.
